Syncrolift Inc opens new offices and wins more than USD 1 million in aftermarket contracts

Miami, FL - Syncrolift Inc., a Rolls-Royce company, today announced the opening of two new offices in Singapore and the United Kingdom to further improve Through Life Services (TLS) for existing customers. The TLS program provides prompt availability of Syncrolift Inc's unique expertise to assist customers maintain full availability of their equipment at all times.

Syncrolift Inc. is the world leader in shiplift systems with up to 221 installations in 66 countries. With two new facilities, in Singapore and Scotland, near the Faslane naval base where a Syncrolift shiplift operates, Syncrolift Inc. is now better positioned to provide optimal TLS global customer support.

Australian company Asset Management Services Pty. has signed a three year TLS five star agreement for maintenance of a Syncrolift. The five star program involves provision of a dedicated Syncrolift Inc team on-site to plan and undertake all maintenance, and to secure and install replacement spare parts.

In addition, three four star TLS contracts, which include wire ropes replacement, in Alexandria and Safaga in Egypt and Port D'Agadir in Morocco, have been extended for three more years.

Annual maintenance continues at Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands and work is ongoing at numerous installations including: Seward's Ship Drydock in Alaska; Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean; and STM in Singapore.

"We are continuing to develop our local services with these developments in Singapore and the UK, strengthening further our position as the shiplift and ship transfer world leader", Syncrolift Inc President Geoff Stokoe said.

Syncrolift, Inc. is the world leader in shiplift systems with 221 installations (out of a total of 251 shiplifts worldwide) in 66 countries. The company, located in Miami, Florida, was incorporated in the State of Florida in 1959. It became part of Rolls-Royce plc in 1989.
