Naval

The Rolls-Royce involvement in naval propulsion spans 50 years and has seen the company pioneer two of the most important technical advances in marine propulsion – the use of aero gas turbines for surface ship propulsion and the development of nuclear propulsion for the Royal Navy’s submarine fleet. Today Rolls-Royce is playing an active role in most major naval programmes around the world.
