UT-Design

To-date more than 650 Rolls-Royce UT-Design vessels have either been supplied, or are under construction around the world. The UT-700 series has achieved the enviable reputation as the world’s most successful and cost-effective offshore service vessels.

The UT-Design for supply and service offshore includes; platform supply, anchor-handling, cable-laying and multi-purpose vessels.

Propulsion

As the largest supplier of marine propulsion and motion control equipment, we provide optimised solutions delivering long-term reliability and functionality tailored to your individual requirements.

With products ranging from Controllable Pitch Propellers (CPP), thrusters, reduction gears, bridge control systems, alarm monitoring and control, switchboards and consoles we have the ability to tailor advanced propulsion systems to any offshore service vessel.

Deck machinery

With over 30 years of experience, we are the world’s leading manufacturer and unrivalled supplied of towing and anchor-handling winches. Winches are designed in close co-operation with the customer to match the vessels’ operation 100 per cent.

Our bulk-handling systems have set the standard for the offshore industry, with a reputation for reliability and efficiency.

Our safer deck systems are comprehensive systems for handling ropes, wires, chains, shackles, and deck cargo, minimising the need for manual work on deck.

Engines

We have over 60 years experience in designing, building, delivering and supporting a full range of medium-speed diesel engines for marine propulsion and auxiliary power.

Three ranges of Bergen diesel engines: K, C, and B-series are supplied, either for mechanical transmission or as generator sets for diesel electric propulsion, spanning a power range from 1-9MW, and gas engines are also available.
