Rolls-Royce is represented in Malaysia across its main business units and the company has well-established relationships with Malaysian customers.

These customers include Malaysia Airlines, which has chosen the Trent 900 engine to power its fleet of six Airbus A380s; Petronas, the company's second-largest energy customer in Asia Pacific; the Royal Malaysian Air Force; and the Royal Malaysian Navy.

Rolls-Royce continues to drive educational initiatives through programmes such as the Institut Teknologi Petroleum PETRONAS (INSTEP) and participation in the British Malaysia Institute, which produces engineers in the fields of electronics and ITC. It also sponsors the Chevening MBA programme and the British Council's British Overseas Industrial Placement (BOND) scheme. In addition Rolls-Royce provides community-based support through various charitable donations.
