The industry-leading fleet of 18,000 Rolls-Royce turboshaft engines - powering light aircraft, helicopters and uninhabited aerial vehicles (UAVs), in both civil and military markets - has accumulated over 200 million flying hours. Customers draw on the support of the Rolls-Royce Model 250 FIRST network of 25 service centres and 30 Rolls-Royce technical representatives.
The Rolls-Royce Model 250 family of light turboshaft and turboprop engines has recently logged its 194 millionth flight hour, and continues to secure new applications. Recent civil applications include the Kamov Ka-226 light twin helicopter, the PZL-Swidnik SW-4 light single helicopter and the Extra EA-500 turboprop.
