The starter kit provided has been outlined below:
Wheels
Included in the pack is a set of four plastic wheels. The smoother
the wheels run, the less friction and hence the cart will go faster!
Dowels
Can be used to make axles for your wheels or anything else you may
want to do with them.
Tech Card
Ideal for making lightweight string structures - provided it is
folded the right way!
Motor
This motor provides a certain amount of power but can be geared
to suit the task in hand.
Two Bladed Propeller
This propeller is meant as a starting point but you may want to
adjust the size and shape to better suit the requirements of the
competition.
Crocodile Clips
These are used to connect your motors to your battery packs.
Batteries
Throughout the competition standard alkali AA batteries must be
used. 9 volt batteries, etc are not permitted.
Battery Holder
Used to hold the AA batteries.
Battery Connector Used to connect the battery pack or 9v
battery to the crocodile clips.
With sustainability in mind, certain parts of the kit need to be
returned to us. These are the motor, fan, crocodile clips, battery
holder and battery connector.
