We make proper provision for the health, safety and welfare of our employees, visitors, contractors and others who may be affected by our activities at work. All of us have a responsibility to follow the company’s health and safety policies and must report any accident, injury, safety violation, or near-miss to the responsible manager.
We aim to have zero injuries and environmental incidents and seek continual improvement by implementing the Rolls-Royce Health, Safety & Environment Management System and related standards. We provide a preventative Occupational Health service that focuses on how our employees’ health can affect their work and how their work can affect their health.
We recognise that the abuse of alcohol, drugs, solvents, over-the-counter medication and other substances can jeopardise the health and safety of our employees. We treat any such abuse at work as serious misconduct.
We promote and safeguard the health and comfort of all employees by not smoking in any of our buildings and encouraging our visitors to do likewise.
We are committed to maintaining a secure working environment and we prohibit
our employees from bringing any weapons or dangerous devices of any kind
onto company property.
