Rolls-Royce supplies aeroderivative gas turbine generating
sets for land based power projects up to 150MW (2xTrent
combined cycle) for today’s distributed generation
environment.
Its aero-engine technology is utilised to produce
aeroderivative gas turbine generating sets of 4 to 58MW,
including the RB211 at around 32MW and the Trent at
up to 58MW to meet a wide range of power requirements.
More than 45,000MW of electrical power has been installed
world-wide.
Rolls-Royce also provides the Bergen K and Bergen B
lean-burn gas engines for industrial power stations
and municipal applications. With output range from 2.2-8.5MW,
these are advanced, clean and efficient units that meet
the most stringent demands for environmentally conscious
electrical power generation systems.
