Typical
production
Primary Recovery of oil and gas usually only occurs
for a limited period of time before additional compression
is required.
Gas lift
When primary recovery of oil is no longer viable, gas
lift allows secondary recovery to start.
Gas injection
By using two or more wells, injection of gas into the
oil reservoir further aids secondary recovery.
Gas depletion
When a prolific natural gas source has been depleted
of its natural compressive energy, gas depletion is
augmented by additional compression.
Gas transmission
For economic and efficient delivery of natural gas,
gas turbine driven packages offer flexible, reliable
performance.
Power generation
Gas turbine power units are being used increasingly
to generate electricity on offshore platforms, Floating
Production, Storage and Offloading vessels (FPSO) and
at onshore processing terminals.
