Rolls-Royce is continually investigating means to reduce fossil fuel emissions. Using Dry Low Emissions (DLE) combustion technology guarantees NOx and CO levels less than 25 vppm, with no compromise in performance or reliability.

The dairy industry may seem an unchanging part of rural life in Ireland, but in Michelstown Dairygold’s work shows it is responding to market demands and, through the environmental benefits of CHP, helping to keep this greenest of lands green for the future.

Beneath the Slovakian fields runs the backbone of the country's economy - one of the world's largest and longest gas pipelines, capable of carrying 12 million cubic metres of gas per hour across vast distances. The most easterly of the four compressor stations, and close to the border with
Ukraine, is situated at Velke Kapusany, a small industrial town 75 minutes drive from Kosice and set amid pectacular scenery. Three Rolls-Royce compression systems are in operation at the site, to replace ageing equipment and to handle the anticipated future growth in gas movements
through the pipelines.
