Rolls-Royce has a vast cutting, dressing and welding capability with various single-point and multi-point cutting machines designed and built to suit different applications. Through creative application of proven technology, Rolls-Royce has developed capability in;

• A family of hydraulically driven cutting machines to allow welds to be cut to allow access to components and then prepare for subsequent re-welding.
• Thread repair and recovery machines to address problems of cracking and galling of threaded components.
• Equipment to support decommissioning and component size reduction work including underwater bandsaws etc.
• Bespoke orbital welding machines developed and qualified using in-house welding engineer and metallurgy expertise.
• Solutions can be developed for remote use, hands-on operation, in air or underwater and can cut, dress and weld a range of materials.
