Available in two variants, the KC5 and KC7, the 501 has accumulated over 60 million hours of operation with more than 500 customers in 40 countries.

The twin shaft gas turbine package offers rugged, easy to maintain performance due to features such as auxiliary equipment skid mounted being skid mounted.

The KC7 design differs from the KC5 by the addition of a single stage compressor boost module.

Dry Low Emissions

Designated LE4, the Dry Low Emissions system introduced on the 501-K series of gas turbines limits exhaust gas emissions to less than 25 volumetric parts per million (vppm) NOx, 50 vppm CO and 20 vppm UHC while operating on natural gas at full load.

Rolls-Royce's award winning premixed lean burn combustion technology is applied to the six axially aligned combustion cans to significantly reduce emissions.
