Power generation market

The power generation market, for which Rolls-Royce offers systems and products up to 150MW (2xTrent combined cycle), is highly competitive with an extremely diverse customer base. Aerospace technology is particularly relevant in the market for distributed power, where progress with the industrial Trent continues.

Rolls-Royce has a growing position in this market. The family of Rolls-Royce gas turbine generating sets offers a power plant range for today's distributed generation environment, from 4MW to the Trent delivering up to 64MW, and reciprocating gas engine generating sets from 2.0 to 8.5MW.

Rolls-Royce also provides complete packaged power generation systems, increasingly required by customers, backed by comprehensive Long-Term Service Agreements.
