In oil and gas power systems Rolls-Royce utilises its gas turbine technology. Together with its centrifugal compressors, the company has a full product range from 5,500 to 70,000 horsepower, for gas compression and oil pumping duties both on and offshore.

Rolls-Royce gas turbines have over 65 million hours of operating experience in oil and gas applications, with over 1700 systems world-wide and nearly 500 units sold for offshore platform service.

Rolls-Royce has an installed base of over 900 pipeline compressors and over 700 barrel-type centrifugal compressors in service.
