2004
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, met the Directors and staff of Rolls-Royce Deutschland and their families. In the presence of VIPs from government and industry, the company introduced itself to the royal couple, who were on a State visit to Germany, in the Crown Estate of Bornstedt in Potsdam.

The BR710 engine achieved one million flight hours with over 450,000 take-offs and landings powering business jet aircraft built by Gulfstream and Bombardier.

First Tay 611-8C assembled in Dahlewitz delivered to Gulfstream.
2003
Rolls-Royce Deutschland handed over the 1000th engine in the BR700 series to a customer. A representative of Boeing joined Rolls-Royce staff at Dahlewitz, the development and production location of the company, in celebrating the occasion of the delivery of a BR715 turbofan for the Boeing 717-200.

The BR715 engine achieved 1 million flight hours, including more than 900,000 take-offs and landings.
2002
Midwest Express Airlines finalised its order for BR715-powered Boeing 717-200 twinjets at 25 firm and 25 option aircraft, with deliveries to begin in February 2003. This represents an increase of five firm aircraft, for which the engine business is worth an estimated $40 million, over last year's initial announcement by Rolls-Royce for 20 firm and 30 option aircraft.

Rolls-Royce Deutschland officially became the Rolls-Royce group's centre of competence for high-pressure compressors and two-shaft engines in the thrust range of 14,000lb to 23,000lb.

Rolls-Royce signed an agreement worth $2 billion with Gulfstream, under which it will supply up to 600 BR710 turbofans for the new Gulfstream GV-SP over the next ten years.
2001
Rolls-Royce Turbomeca RTM322 engine completed high-temperature test. BR715 engine certified for use in Russia and the Ukraine.

Rolls-Royce Chairman met Prime Minister of Brandenburg, Manfred Stolpe. Sir Ralph used the occasion to announce that Rolls-Royce Deutschland is to become the Group's centre of competence for compressor technology.

The 500th T117 engine was serviced in Oberursel. Midwest Express Airlines ordered 20 Boeing 717's powered with BR715 engines. At the same time Midwest Express Airlines took out options on a further 30 aircraft of the same type. Rolls-Royce marine business' boosted through takeover in Germany.

Visit by Thuringian Minister to Rolls-Royce Deutschland's high-tech plant in Dahlewitz.

Visit by Brandenburg's Minister of the Interior, Jörg Schönbohm, to Rolls-Royce Deutschland's high-tech plant in Dahlewitz.

The turbofan BR710 was selected by Bombardier to power its new Business Jet Global 5000.

Rolls-Royce Deutschland and China Aviation Industry Corporation I (AVIC I) signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding co-operation on the ARJ21 regional jet in the presence of the Federal Chancellor Gerhard Schröder, Minister of Economic Affairs Werner Müller and the Chinese deputy prime minister, Lanqing Li.
2000
Rolls-Royce Deutschland became a 100% subsidiary of the global corporation, Rolls-Royce plc in London.

The 500th Rolls-Royce BR700 engine left final assembly in Dahlewitz, and Gulfstream delivered the 100th Gulfstream GV powered by German BR710 engines.

Rolls-Royce Deutschland trainees began work on restoring the historical BRAMO aeroengines of the FW 200 Condor for the German Technology Museum in Berlin.

The Rolls-Royce/Turbomeca RTM322 engine was selected for the NH90 helicopter. The Oberursel plant took over final assembly and customer support for Rolls-Royce customers in Germany.
1999
Entry into service of the Boeing 717 fitted with German BR715 engines.

The BR700 development team was awarded the "German aerospace Badge of Honour" by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V. Rolls-Royce and BMW reorganised the ownership structure.

BMW Rolls-Royce was renamed Rolls-Royce Deutschland.
1998
Boeing decided to power all its 717-200's (previously the MD-95) with the BR715 engine. International certification and maiden flight of the BR715 engine.
1997
Green run of the BR715 engine in Dahlewitz. The Gulfstream GV equipped with BR710 engines won the American Collier-Trophy. The ultra-long-range business jet has won over 50 aviation world records to date.
