1970
Support and maintenance for ten T53 shaft engines used as boosters in Deutsche Bahn locomotives.

1969
Beginning of development work on a number of programmes. T212 shaft engines for the blade tip drive of the DO-32 Kiebitz tethered helicopter, maiden flight 1972. T312 shaft engine (APU) for the Tornado multi-role fighter aircraft, first flown in August 1974, serial production 1978. G119S and G119P transmissions (starboard and port) for the secondary power system of the Tornado, first flown August 1974, serial production 1978.

1963
Serial production of the T16/T216 was begun. Support and maintenance for a General Electric LM 100 shaft engine that was installed as a booster in a Deutsche Bahn locomotive.

1959
Building under licence of the Bristol-Siddeley Orpheus 803 D11 jet engine (later Rolls-Royce) to power the Fiat G-91. This marked the start of gas turbine construction for aviation.

1958
Development work on exhaust-gas turbochargers and cooling fans for air-cooled Deutz engines and development of the T16 industrial gas turbine, which had begun back in 1953, was transferred to Oberursel.

1956
The factory was returned to Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz AG. Despite extensive renovation work, that would last until 1958, production of spare parts for the Cologne factory continues.
