Dual mode degree programmes

The integrated degree programme offers achievement-oriented students the opportunity to successfully put theoretical knowledge acquired on a degree course immediately into practice. At a fixed rhythm, students alternate between university and Rolls-Royce Deutschland, the partner company. We are convinced of the success of this concept and therefore offer two different degree paths: the Bachelor of Business Administration and Engineering (BBAE) specialising in Mechanical Engineering, in cooperation with the University of Giessen/Friedberg at our Oberursel site near Frankfurt am Main, and the Bachelor of Business Studies/Industry in cooperation with the Berlin School of Economics and Law at our Dahlewitz site.

Training programme

The course lasts three years, including final exams. Whereas most normal students have to take a job in their vacations, you receive 30 days’ holiday and monthly pay as a trainee. According to the study plan, the content of a university degree is taught at the higher educational establishment in question and reinforced during practical work placements in our company. Thanks to the close dovetailing of theory and practice, you receive an education that is both science-related and practically oriented and enables you to take on demanding work in different parts of our company even while you are a student. You will find a good summary of the content of the relevant course on the web pages of the relevant higher educational establishment.

Requirements

We expect above-average marks in your final secondary school examinations, good English and a good grasp of mathematics. Communication skills, the ability to work in a team and intercultural openness will be among your strengths. An interest in financial implications is essential for both courses. Moreover, for the Bachelor of Business Administration and Engineering (BBAE) programme specialising in Mechanical Engineering you should also have successfully completed a course of technical training.
