Course description
The course is a highly task oriented, ‘hand-on’ experience in the modular disassembly, inspection, reassembly and test of the T56/501D engine. The "I” level Maintenance course is intended to train qualified personnel who already possess a high skill level and are directly involved with the disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of the engine.

Course objectives
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to perform detailed maintenance and inspection tasks to include module removal and disassembly, inspection, reassembly and preparation for test to Rolls-Royce standards. The student will be able to use special tooling and equipment to support engine dissassembly and reassembly. Common repair and component improvement schemes are discussed, but a detailed review of those processes are not included in this course.
