Course description
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the construction, design, and operation of the engine and engine systems. Fundamentals of the gas turbine engine theory is also included to support course objectives.

Course objectives
Upon completion of the course, the student will have a general knowledge of the AE 2100D3 engine, special safety precautions, and be able to describe and locate engine components, modules, and key design features. The student will understand the operational characteristics of the engine, engine systems, components and line replaceable units (LRU).
