We are also committed to promoting education as a key enabler of HH Sheikh Khalifa’s 2030 Vision, and working closely with our industrial partners to promote the creation of a vibrant and competitive diversified economy.
Rolls-Royce has a Regional Office in Abu Dhabi, and further facilities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Our Marine regional workshop is based at Jebel Ali in Dubai and we have a team supporting Emirates airline at Dubai International Airport.
In Abu Dhabi Airport we have teams supporting Etihad airlines, providing a regional On-Wing Care capability, and delivering capability management services to Mubadala’s MRO businesses. In Al Ain we have a facility to support the UAE Air Force’s fleet of Hawk trainers.
Civil Aerospace
- Emirates operate Trent 500, 700 and 800-powered aircraft, and have a significant XWB order for their A350 fleet
- Etihad operate Trent 500 and 700-powered aircraft and have also ordered the A350
- A wide range of Rolls-Royce powered corporate jets and helicopters is also in operation across the country.
Defence Aerospace
- The UAE Air Force operates Adour-powered Hawk trainers, T56-powered C130s, and Trent 700-powered tanker aircraft.
Marine
- Commercial and naval marine have a presence in country, supporting a regional services workshop and a wide range of Rolls-Royce installed equipment including two Synchrolift sites.
Energy
- The full range of Trent 60, RB211 and Avon industrial applications are in operation in the UAE in onshore and offshore roles.
Services
- We deliver a range of capability management programmes in the UAE, focussed specifically on developing MRO capabilities in the civil, energy and marine sectors.
