Rolls-Royce has been named a Gold Company in the Business in the Community’s Community Index for 2006.
We achieved an overall score of 94.33%.
This year is the first year BitC have produced a standalone Community Index, which has been designed to compare a company’s performance against its sector peers and other participants.
A total of 82 companies are using the Community Index as a management tool. Companies are marked on five areas – corporate strategy & community; integration; community management practice; performance & impact; assurance & commitment to disclose.
Rolls-Royce received over 85 per cent in all sections, beating the index average. In addition, the Group scored 100 per cent on questions relating to leadership & reporting, policies, performance management, remuneration & bonus, stakeholder engagement, role of community programmes, measurement of inputs and outputs, impact of programmes and reporting.
