Rolls-Royce has been named a Platinum Company in the Business in the Community’s Environment Index for 2006.
We achieved an overall score of 99.31% and came top of the aerospace and defence sector.
Business in the Environment (BiE) is the business-led campaign for environmental responsibility of Business in the Community in the UK. Its aim is to inspire companies to regard environmental responsibility as an essential part of business excellence.
Rolls-Royce received over 90 per cent in all sections, beating the index average. In addition, the Group scored 100 per cent on questions relating to corporate values, integration, and environmental performance & impact.
Rolls-Royce has participated in the UK’s Business in the Environment index since 1997 and has consistently improved its performance.
