Course objectives
The Dart maintenance course provides the student with a detailed understanding of the Dart propulsion system, installation interface and test equipment. Training should provide the student with skills necessary to carry out engine running, maintenance practices and troubleshooting. Curriculum includes engine introduction and layout, oil system, torquemeter, engine control, fuel, propeller and starting systems. Additional topics include water methanol, drains, interconnection of controls, ice prevention, fire protection, turbine gas temperature indicator and ground running. Students must successfully pass a written final exam to receive a graduation certificate. |
