Rolls-Royce is strongly placed in the regional sector
with new generation engines which enjoy exclusivity
on two of the market's leading jetliners.
Having begun commercial flying in 1999, the BR715
is continuing its successful in-service experience on
the 100-seat Boeing 717, of which a total of nearly
150 are in service currently. This engine shares common
design and technologies with the BR710 as part of a
14,000 - 23,000lb. thrust family.
Meanwhile the 8,000lb. thrust class AE 3007 allied
with the 37 - 50 seat Embraer regional jet (ERJ) series
continues to prove an attractive choice for a growing
customer base around the world. To date, over 900 AE
3007-powered ERJs have been delivered, accumulating
more than 15 million engine hours.
