Technical data
The FJ44-1 features a single-stage fan with integral
single-stage LP axial compressor and a centrifugal HP
compressor. These are driven by a two-stage LP and single-stage
HP turbine respectively. The combustion system is single
annular. The FJ44-2 has an increased diameter advanced
HP fan with a three-stage LP axial compressor and other
performance modifications. Design changes have been
kept to a minimum for commonality.
