We are working very closely with Airbus, airlines and
suppliers on the engine preliminary design in an interactive
process to ensure that the Trent XWB is optimised for
the Airbus A350 XWB family.
Importantly, this 'working together' process will continue
as the engine progresses through detail design, engine
development testing and then finally when the engine
enters service.
