Rolls-Royce produces one of the broadest turboshaft engine families available in the world, with a power range stretching from 420 shaft horsepower to more than 6,000shp.

The industry-leading fleet of 17,000 Rolls-Royce turboshaft engines - powering light aircraft, helicopters and uninhabited aerial vehicles (UAVs), in both civil and military markets - has accumulated over 180 million flying hours. Customers draw on the support of the Rolls-Royce Model 250 FIRST network of 27 service centres and 170 Rolls-Royce technical representatives.

The Rolls-Royce Model 250 family of light turboshaft and turboprop engines has recently logged its 170 millionth flight hour, and continues to secure new applications. Recent civil applications include the Kamov Ka-226 light twin helicopter, the PZL-Swidnik SW-4 light single helicopter and the Extra EA-500 turboprop.
