Despite being the third engine available on the A330 the Trent 700 has proven itself as market leader with the greatest number of engines sold by some margin and by establishing the largest operator base on the A330. This success has set a strong foundation that has been extended by the rest of the Trent family.

The Trent 700 has a firm overall market share on the A330 of 53%. This is divided into 50% share of the A330-200 market and 56% of the A330-300 market. There are currently over 250 Trent powered A330s in service with more than 200 on firm order.

The Trent 700 has had a great start on the A330-200F programme securing 71% market share.
