Rolls-Royce also leads the field in developing
top-quality technical and managerial training
programmes with a range of Chinese organisations
including Chinese Government organisations,
Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC)
and Aviation Industries of China (AVIC I
and II).
The symbol of this strong relationship on
training is a joint facility in Tianjin
operated by Rolls-Royce and the CAAC, which
opened in 1997, for the training of technicians,
engineers and managers.
Altogether, Rolls-Royce has co-operated
with five Chinese ministries or departments
on training programmes. It has signed six
training protocols with CAAC since 1990,
including the CAAC Senior Executive Development
Programme.
