Xi’an XR Aerocomponents (XRA)
A growing operation with a 400-strong skilled workforce, Xi’an XR Aerocomponents (XRA) is a joint venture set up between Rolls-Royce and Xi’an Aero-engine Group (XAE) in 1996.
XRA specialises in casting and machining for turbine blades and nozzle guide vanes (NGV) for a variety of Rolls-Royce engine types. In 2009, XRA expanded its production through establishing a new manufacturing facility in the Xi’an Export Processing Zone.
Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited (HAESL) is one of the world’s most respected facilities in the aircraft engine repair and overhaul market. Rolls-Royce has 45% shareholding in HAESL.
Offering comprehensive services including component repair, HAESL combines the strength of Rolls-Royce as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) with the experience of Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAECO) and SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) for airframe and engine maintenance.
