Internships

If you’re looking to develop your skills and gain practical experience at a world-class organisation, this is your chance. Rolls-Royce offers a range of internships for students – more than 250 placements each year – either as full-year or summer internships.

Whether it’s through special training programmes or challenging real-life assignments, you’ll test yourself like never before. And if you perform well enough, you may well be offered the opportunity to join our graduate programme.

Options

• 6-12 month internships are available in Engineering, Finance, Project Management, Purchasing, and Supply Chain Planning and Control.
• Summer internships lasting 10-12 weeks are available. We run programmes for the following: Commercial, Customer Management, Engineering, Finance, HR, Operations Management, Project Management, Purchasing, and Supply Chain Planning and Control.

What you’ll need

You must have a strong academic record pre-university and be on target to attain a 2:1/overall GPA 3.0 or above in your degree.

Salaries

UK: £17,850 per year; pro rata for summer internships – salaries are subject to regional variation and can change.

We’re interested in well-rounded individuals who really want to work for us. So think widely about your experiences so far – in life, in work, academically and socially – and how these could support your application. If you’re successful, you’ll be invited to attend an assessment centre. This will involve technical and competency based interviews, psychometric tests, a presentation and a group exercise.
