There are three types of nuclear engineers at Rolls-Royce:
- Health Physics Engineers ensure the radiological safety of production and support activities
- Radiation Physics and Shielding Engineers design and develop radioactive shielding
- Reactor Physics Engineers design new reactor cores to meet the country’s needs well into the latter part of the 21st century
