| Who We Are
We're among the three largest employers in Indianapolis with a workforce
of nearly 5,000 people. Our employees have backgrounds in various areas:
engineering, supply chain management, manufacturing management, logistics,
finance, human resources, customer support, legal, and communications.
Our production, assembly, test, and facilities teams
include electricians, millwrights, pipe fitters, tool & die makers,
and airframe/powerplant mechanics.
What We Do
We're home to the largest Rolls-Royce manufacturing site in North America.
Our employees design, develop, and manufacture key company products such
as:
- AE1107C used in the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft
- AE3007 engines used in several Embraer regional jets
and the Cessna Citation X corporate jet
- AE2100 engines used in the Lockheed Martin C-130J
Hercules tactical airlifter
- Model 250 helicopter engines used in half the world's
light single- and twin-engine helicopters
- T800 helicopter engines used in the U.S. Army's RAH-66
Comanche
Additionally, our engineering, design, and research
centers support all aspects of turbine engine and component design, development,
test, and production.
Our model shop and laboratories are equipped to support
research work. And our test facilities allow comprehensive evaluation
of engines and their component parts.
Where We Live
Given our central location in the heart of the Midwest, we enjoy proximity
to a number of attractions, including the sights and sounds of such diverse
cities as Chicago, Cincinnati, Detroit, and Louisville.
Economically speaking, we have an enviable cost of living,
one that sits below the national average and that of many larger U.S.
cities. Add to that major renovations downtown and a flourishing suburban
scene, and you have a great place to call home. |
