Every year, Rolls-Royce spends £7 billion on goods and services. Making sure we get the best possible value from that spend is the role of our Purchasing team. By selecting suppliers and managing the way they operate, purchasing not only impacts on our profitability - but also our ability to deliver excellence to customers.

As a graduate, you'll start with three, six-month placements - where you'll experience a mix of on-the-job learning, modular training and project work. The aim is to give you the best possible grounding for your future career, with experience that covers areas like researching and evaluating new sources, negotiating contracts and working with suppliers to help them improve performance.

Relationship skills, business understanding, drive, courage and integrity – these are all key qualities we look for in our graduates. You'll also need a strong academic record pre-university and a bachelor's degree (2:1 achieved and expected in the UK).

US students need an overall GPA of 3.0 or above. Other candidates will need the national equivalent of these qualifications
