Second Year, Management , Cass Business School
I applied for the Female Undergraduate of the Year because I wanted to see how I would perform against the best females from the best universities. Moreover it is a chance to get an internship in one of the world’s leading companies – a chance to show what I can do and develop further.
The two-day assessment process and the Rolls-Royce tour was not only very interesting but also a lot of fun. It was really inspiring to be surrounded by so many successful females that already work for Rolls-Royce and hear their stories. The environment created at the Rolls-Royce assessment centre didn’t feel frightening or pressured - everyone was very friendly and eager to see the best in us.
Working for one of the best engineering companies in the world would be challenging, and there is nothing more I like than undertaking a new challenge and working on it, making sure that I not only deliver excellence but also develop myself, my skills and my personality. I believe that stepping out of our comfort zone and challenging ourselves truly makes us learn the best.
