Work experience for 14 - 19 year olds
The importance of having a future supply of well educated, enthusiastic, highly skilled people is critical to our success in an increasingly competitive global market. To Rolls-Royce, providing quality work experience placements is one element of enabling students to be able to make informed career decisions and ultimately aim to attract potential students into the world of Engineering and/or Rolls-Royce.
Rolls-Royce continues to be committed to supporting an insight into career opportunities and work experience placements. To manage the high volume of requests for work experience placements for the 14-19 age group Rolls-Royce will continue to only accept requests for work experience placements via a school, college or specific organisations and not direct from students.
We are also particularly looking at increasing work experience placements for female students (aged between 14 and 19 years old) from 20% to 50% and therefore requests for placements should include (where possible) a 50/50 split.
