As a Technical Apprentice, you will develop and refine your investigative and problem-solving abilities. By the time you reach the end of your three-and-a-half years, you'll have what it takes to face some of the world's toughest engineering challenges - which you could be doing anywhere in the world, thanks to our vast global reach. You can also expect to have achieved Foundation degree status, proving this is a real alternative to university.
Your first year gives you grounding in a wide variety of core technical skills, with a range of mentored placements helping us determine where in our business will suit you best. Year 2 will see you widening and deepening your knowledge, until in Year 3 you get aligned to a specific Rolls-Royce business.
Throughout your Technical Apprenticeship, you'll enjoy on and off-the-job training that leads to a number of qualifications including a BTEC in an engineering discipline, Employee Rights and Responsibility, Core / Function Skills (e.g. Personal Learning and Thinking Skills), plus an NVQ Level 3. All of which equip you for a bright future and a promising career in engineering.
