Job Purpose
To develop broad relationships across relevant customers that deliver the assigned sales campaigns for Rolls-Royce products and services in targeted countries
 
Key Accountabilities
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer's view of Rolls-Royce and its competitors to effectively provide market intelligence to the business and effectively anticipate the needs of the customer
  • Identify potential sales opportunities in the region, ensure these are captured in Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM) and that resource is allocated to pursue them
  • Understand and communicate to the regional Customer Team all aspects of the customer; its organization, strategy, culture and decision-making processes, as well as the procurement and commercial activity, and the customer services issues
  • Have awareness of the key business interactions between customer and Rolls-Royce (Commercial, Financial & Technical)
  • Develop and create the Rolls-Royce relationship (at all levels) with identified customers within target countries/region/territory as directed by the Sales Director/VP/AV with an objective to enhance the overall relationship with the identified customers
  • Establish and help execute successful sales campaigns to secure customer orders as directed by the Sales Director/VP/AV
  • Identify opportunities to further improve the relationship between Rolls-Royce and the customer and be best placed for future sales campaigns
  • Map the relationship with key marking for day to day business and new sales opportunities
  • Utilise resources in Rolls-Royce, its partner companies and suppliers to deliver successful sales campaigns
  • Act as the customer interface for issues associated with execution of the agreed sales campaign
  • Provide information on risks and opportunities affecting the agreed sales campaign
  • Support the sales director in delivering the assigned sales campaigns within the agreed budget and timescales
  • Develop relationships with airframer sales and marketing teams within target countries/region/territory as directed by the Sales Director/VP/AV
  • Develop relationships with local airworthiness authorities or other government bodies as may be necessary to sell and support RR products in service, or to enable the delivery of contracted services to our customers.
