An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Parts Application Engineer to join Rolls-Royce Energy Sector in Warwick.

As a Parts Application Engineer you will be accountable for driving parts sales in the region to meet business targets. Your main focus will be to support the regional Sales Teams by identifying, defining and developing parts opportunities and proposals. You will also work directly with customers to develop parts programs which will support operation and maintenance of their equipment. The role will involve support of customer meetings which entails travel within the region.

Assignments will cover a wide variety of equipment including centrifugal compressors, power turbines, gas turbine, combustion air filters, lubrication systems, etc.

Over the past few years, Rolls-Royce Energy has successfully grown to be a £1 billion per annum global business by focusing on the supply and support of aero-derivative gas turbine packages and equipment to the global oil & gas and power generation markets. The business has supplied over 4,000 gas turbines to customers in over 80 countries accumulating over 200 million hours of operating experience. We also have a developing civil nuclear capability that has further strengthened our position in the power generation market.

Working as a Parts Application Engineer, your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide in-region technical and sales support to Sales Development Managers (SDMs) and Customer Business Managers (CBMs) in pursuit of parts sales and developing programs and sales strategies to win orders.

  • Define parts kits to operators.

  • Support CBMs in identifying new opportunities to sell parts.

  • Lead on-site customer conferences, planning maintenance and major parts projects, as directed by CBM/SDM.

  • Define regional priorities between region (SDM and CBM) and Aftermarket (Customer Order Administrators, Parts Definers, Buyers).

  • Drive internal support from engineering, purchasing, supply chain, and COAs to generate customer parts quotes, technical information, and execute projects.

  • Consolidate parts forecasting for the region.

  • Prepare appropriate project cost, pricing and margin analysis, project and business risk analysis, bid approval documentation.

  • Provide quotations (including pricing, lead-times and commercial conditions).
