Here?s the theory: engineers go to university, get a degree then start their career. We say think differently. Join our Higher Apprenticeship scheme and while you?re working towards a graduate-level education, you?ll also be getting invaluable real-world experience. By the time you finish the scheme, you?ll have achieved at least a Foundation degree ? and be ready practically to start taking your development way beyond that.
 
All the way through your Higher Apprenticeship, you?ll be working alongside real engineering professionals. You?ll get a firm foundation in engineering principles, before going on to mentored placements in different areas of the company, typically lasting four months each.
 
Working across everything from civil engineering, defence services and naval marine to fans and manufacturing, you?ll enjoy on and off-the-job training, a competitive salary and opportunities to progress within our Engineering function. Roles available in this area include Technician, Technologist, Manufacturing Engineer, Service Engineer and Supplier Quality Engineer. How far you go in any of these roles is up to you and your ambitions.

Earn valuable qualifications: (NVQ/SVQs Level 4 or 5 in Engineering Leadership, among other qualifications) ? with the potential for funded studies to HNC, HND or Foundation degree level
