No, we don’t offer this at present.

Apprenticeships

How do I apply?

When should I apply?
This will vary depending on the site you're interested in. Please check in the Search and apply section for information on when vacancies are open.

What qualifications do I need for the Business Administrator Apprenticeship?
In addition to good results in your final secondary school exam, we’ll expect you to be interested in economics, law and ecology. A good grasp of Maths and at least a basic knowledge of the English language are also essential.
 
What qualifications do I need for a Technical Apprenticeship?
We have three technical apprenticeships: Aircraft Mechanic (specialising in engine technology), Cutting Mechanic (specialising in turning) and Industrial Mechanic (specialising in machinery and systems engineering).  For each of these, you must be practical, like working with your hands, and have a good secondary school leaving certificate or final secondary school examination. A good grasp of Maths and at least a basic knowledge of the English language are also essential.

No, we only accept applications for mandatory internships.

Thesis/Project Work:

How do I apply?
Please apply by mail.

Is there a list of thesis topics that I can apply for?
There is no list of thesis topics. If you want to produce a thesis on an area of work you think will interest us, please write us a letter outlining what you’d like to do and where you’d like to work.

Internships for university students:

How long is an internship?
Usually 3 - 6 months.

Can I apply to all parts of the company?
Yes.

Can I undertake an internship after my studies?
No. We only offer internships to registered students

How many hours a week will I have to work?
Your working week would be 38 hours in Dahlewitz and 35 hours in Oberursel.

Is there a closing date for applications?
There isn’t a closing date, but you should apply at least 4 months before you want to start your internship.

Should I apply directly to the area of your business I’m interested in?
No, please send your application, indicating where you want to work, to our Human Resources department.
