Training career paths
Every year we offer apprenticeships in the three technical career paths of aircraft mechanic (specialising in engine technology) in Dahlewitz near Berlin, and cutting mechanic (specialising in turning) and industrial mechanic (specialising in machinery and systems engineering) in Oberursel near Frankfurt am Main. We also offer traineeships in Dahlewitz and Oberursel for business administrators.

Start date and duration of training
The training programme begins in September each year and normally lasts for 3.5 years. In cases of above-average performance, it is possible to reduce this time to three years. Once you have successfully completed your training to the required standard we offer you a permanent position in the company.

Requirements
Irrespective of which training career path you choose, you should in any case be a responsible and conscientious person. You should also have good communication skills and be capable of working both independently and in a team. In addition, we would expect you to have a good grasp of mathematics and basic knowledge of the English language.

For the career path of business administrator we require good results in your final secondary school examination, combined with an interest in economics, law and ecology. For our technical training career paths we require a good secondary school leaving certificate or final secondary school examination plus practical skills for a variety of tasks.

The selection process for the apprenticeship starting in September 2008 is completed.
