Weston EU Ltd was awarded the Chief Procurement Officer Award as a supplier who demonstrated exemplary commitment to impacting positively on performance to the customer.

Founded in 1948, Weston EU remains a privately owned company; manufacturing precision machined details and associated assemblies for the aero-engine, aero-structures and aircraft interiors industries.

Weston EU operates from two sites in the UK which are located in Lancashire, NW England. The group also has a wholly owned subsidiary company, Weston SEA, which is located in Chonburi province, Thailand.

2008 was a milestone year for the company in which they signed two long-term agreements with Rolls-Royce for the supply of Compressor Aerofoils from both the UK and Thai businesses, whilst opening three new manufacturing facilities. UK aerofoil operations have been transferred from three facilities into one new factory which is dedicated to Rolls-Royce.

The first delivery from Thailand commenced on time on the 4 March 2009.
