Dr Michael Haidinger

Michael Haidinger is President Civil Small & Medium Engines Civil Aerospace. In this position, he is responsible for directing the global Civil Small & Medium Engine business.

Additional to this role, Michael is also President Rolls-Royce Deutschland, responsible for the company’s business in Germany. Michael Haidinger joined Rolls-Royce in October 2006. He began his career in 1989 at DASA AG, Munich, as Head of Corporate Planning. In 1992 he was nominated Assistant to the CFO and subsequent to this function he joined Fairchild Dornier as Division Manager for offers and contracts Do328/Do228 in 1995. He then was appointed Managing Director Finance and Purchasing of Airbus Military Company S.A.S, based in Toulouse, France in 1997. In 2002 Michael Haidinger became CFO Eurocopter S.A.S and a Member of the Board of EADS Deutschland GmbH.

Michael Haidinger has a doctor’s degree in Business Economics from University of Innsbruck, Austria as well as a MBA from INSEAD Fontainebleau, France.
