Professor Sir Peter Gregson - FREng, FIEI

Appointed to the Board in March 2007. He is President and Vice-Chancellor of Queen's University Belfast and serves on the Northern Ireland Economic Development Forum, the Council of CBI Northern Ireland and the Steering Group of the US - Ireland Research and Development Partnership.

He is a Fellow and Council Member of the Royal Academy of Engineering, a Member of the Royal Irish Academy, and Deputy Lieutenant of Belfast.

He was formerly Professor of Aerospace Materials and Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Southampton and has served on the Council for the Central Laboratory of the Research Councils (CCLRC).
