Sir Frank Chapman

Frank Chapman has worked in the oil and gas industry for over 36 years. He spent 22 years with the Royal Dutch/Shell Group and BP and joined the British Gas Group in November 1996 as Managing Director, Exploration and Production (E&P). He was appointed to the BG plc Board on the demerger of Centrica in 1997 and was appointed President BG International in May 1999. He was appointed Chief Executive of BG Group plc in October 2000 following the demerger of the Lattice Group plc.

Sir Frank was awarded a knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours List 2011 for his services to the oil and gas industries.
