N3 is a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and
Rolls-Royce. A new facility is being constructed at
Arnstadt near Erfurt in Germany and is due for completion
in 2007. N3 Engine Overhaul Services will undertake
the overhaul of Trent 500, 700 and 900 engines which
power the Airbus A330, A340-500/600 and A380 respectively.
In addition to engine maintenance, N3 will subsequently
extend its services to the repair of engine components
as required.
