Selection process

The main criteria which we are looking for is a detailed, relevant and fully completed work experience application form, demonstrating a keen and genuine interest in Engineering and / or Rolls-Royce.

We receive many applications and cannot fulfil all requests and although we will endeavour to match to suitable work experience placements this cannot be guaranteed. 

Please be aware completion of an application form should be within term-time (sixth form student placements will be considered outside term-time) and does not automatically guarantee a placement, the student will be informed directly whether or not a placement has been allocated.

Submission of an application form does not guarantee a work experience placement. We would strongly advise that alternative placements are also investigated and you are not solely reliant on this request for supporting your work placement.

Please note, if you do not hear from us 4 weeks prior to your placement commencement date then unfortunately we have been unable to allocate a suitable placement for you.
