We are no longer accepting new application forms for one-week work experience placements for Academic Year 2011-2012.
Rolls-Royce’s 14-19 work experience strategy is to support placements for students in compulsory or Government funded full-time training or education, to undertake a one-week experience of the working environment to broaden knowledge and experience of the work placement. Students must have a genuine interest in Rolls-Royce and/or engineering in order to be considered. A date must be provided in your application form, otherwise this may result in your application form NOT being considered.
Application forms must be submitted at least four months prior to the placement date.
Students under 18 must be within reasonable travelling distance to the Rolls-Royce site.
If you meet this criteria we would be happy to review your application form.
Please note: submission of an application form does not automatically guarantee a placement, this will depend on a suitable placement being available and is mainly in relation to placements that take place within the academic year, term-time only. It is imperative for insurance purposes that the school/college gives their approval and provides a point of contact during your placement week, without this detail will not be able to consider your application form.
Academic Year (for placements between September 2012 and July 2013), can be completed between 14 May 2012 until 1 November 2012. Application forms must be submitted at least four months prior to the placement date, the end date of 1 November 2012 maybe brought forward if we have an exceptional amount of application forms.
Applications forms for Inchinnan and East Kilbride will remain open until 1st March 2013, all other sites will close for new external applications on the 1st November 2012.
