About the FanTastic Challenge

As a design team, the challenge is to construct and demonstrate a battery-powered cart that is propelled by a fan. Working from simple materials, participants must design and build their carts to meet the demands of each round, including a fast-paced sprint race and an unpowered ramp descent.

The basic starting kit includes:

Each team is provided with a basic starting kit. The supplied motor and AA batteries must be used throughout the competition. Any additional materials can be used.
